Applications will be accepted June 1 through October 1, 2004, for the 2005 show.

On June 1, 2004, the Miss Camp America Foundation, Inc, will announce the beginning of the selection of the 2005 charities.

Funds raised during the 2005 MCAF campaign will benefit Houston-area charitable organizations that provide services to persons in the greater Houston metropolitan area affected by HIV-AIDS.

It is the tradition of Miss Camp America Foundation, Inc., to provide financial assistance to nonprofit 501(c)(3) organizations whose programs, philosophies and ideas reflect a unique or innovative approach to the HIV/AIDS problem.  ;Charitable organizations tha provide HIV/AIDS-related programs of direct care; clinical, social and mental health services;public policy; advocacy; housing; financial aid; education/prevention programs; and support services are eligible.

Funds granted by Miss Camp America Foundation, Inc, must be used to support all costs associated with projects and programs described in the organization's grant application.

The packets that must include the following:

  1. Letter of intent describing:
    1. Mission Statement
    2. Programs provided and demographics of client populations served
    3. How much is requested and "specific" description of how award is to be applied
  2. Financial Statement (most recent)
  3. Other information that you feel would better inform the selection committee about the organization and how your organization provides service to the HIV/AIDS community.
